The Quest Campus Expands

The Deer Run Campus of Quest Swimming expanded in recent months. MoveStrong (Functional Fitness Equipment) installed “state of the art, ” outdoor training center on the hill above the competitive training pool. One might also describe it as a Functional “Play” Center since swimmers “rush” to use the equipment freely before organized exercise sessions.

ALSO - Quest opened The Midlothian Swim Shop in the “old” dryland room of the existing clubhouse. The insides of the clubhouse have been completely renovated. Visit the MSS and get any needed swim items for lessons, training or competition. You can also purchase The Art of Swimming and The Game of Racing in the swim shop.

Unfortunately, our Clearspan plan, to enclose the competitive training pool, proved impossible to accomplish due to engineering challenges. Quest is planning to install a brand new bubble by the fall months. Bubble technology has modernized tremendously since 2002, the year of the original bubble purchase. Stay tuned!

Altogether, the Quest Aquatic Campus is now realized according to the original vision, to include: the enclosed competitive pool, the indoor teaching pool, the renovated and lighted parking lot, a Swim Shop and an outdoor exercise training center for all ages - all landscaped for your enjoyment.

Sights are now set on improvements at the Evergreen pool campus.
